Our packages are open source, and so are the numbers behind them. Each engine’s adoption — downloads, citations, releases — is read from its sources, and this page shows what it finds, honestly qualified. No package is measured by a figure without its caveat.

How to read these. CRAN counts one mirror, not a census; the total is all-time, since 2012. SSC (Stata) install counts come from ssccount against the Boston College archive, measured on the date shown. The SSC figures here are for the engines listed; across all 14 packages by the author on SSC — including earlier survival and meta-analysis tools — installs total 104,464. CRAN and SSC are never summed. Citations, being language-agnostic, count R and Stata reach as one.
