Our contributions to ISCB46: three abstracts, a pre-conference course, and a session chair

We're excited to announce that our team contributed to this year's annual conference of the International Society for Clinical Biostatistics (ISCB46) with one pre-conference course, two oral presentations, one poster, and one session chair. These contributions reflect ongoing work in both methods development and applied biostatistics. A special thanks to Dr Alessandro Gasparini, Dr Michael Crowther, and Dr Sara Ekberg for their work on these projects.

The contributions at ISCB46 included Good Software Engineering Practice for R Packages (pre-conference course); a session chair for joint/longitudinal modelling; "Standardized survival probabilities and contrasts between hierarchical units in multilevel survival models" (oral presentation); "Modelling the time-varying effect of hormonal treatment on metastasis-free survival among ER+ breast cancer patients — a natural history modelling approach" (oral presentation); and "A framework for estimating quality-adjusted life years using joint models of longitudinal and survival data" (poster).
