Hello!

My name is Sara, and I joined Red Door Analytics as a Principal Biostatistician part-time in June of 2022. I want to take this opportunity to introduce myself and share some of my experiences and passions.

I received my Master’s in Mathematical Statistics from Stockholm University in 2011 and have spent the past decade as an Applied Biostatistician at Karolinska Institutet, where I have contributed to numerous research projects. In January 2021, I defended my Ph.D. thesis, “Long-term survival and survivorship in Non-Hodgkin lymphoma patients in Sweden”, which included a study in collaboration with Michael, where we applied the multistate model he developed.

Being a Biostatistician, I am grateful to have the opportunity to contribute to a field that can improve many people’s lives, and I am especially passionate about bridging the gap between method development and practical application to solve real-world problems. At Red Door Analytics, I work hands-on with statistical analysis in various projects. For the remainder of my time, I continue to serve as a Biostatistician at Karolinska Institutet. Additionally, I am affiliated with Uppsala University, where I am involved in several research projects, and Lund University, where I teach statistics to clinical researchers, which is another passion of mine.

When I am not working, I enjoy long-distance running and CrossFit. I take singing lessons and do horseback riding. I am also a proud mother of two daughters.

I am thrilled to be part of the fantastic Red Door Analytics team and look forward to contributing my skills and expertise to ongoing and future projects!
